Rum Kraken presents a limited edition in a very special pack with one bottle of 700ml and an original glass mug. It will bring some style and appeal to your cocktails!

This unique pack is exclusively represented by Solbel.

It happened in October 9th at Solbel premises. In order to announce the Quinta do Crasto Porto Vintage 2016, Solbel and Heritage Wines invited a small group of interested clients to take part of an experience around Quinta do Crasto Port Wines. This fantastic tasting began with Ruby and Finest Reserve, followed by LBV 2013, Vintage 2001, Vintage 2016 (the newest) and for the great final, Colheita 1988. Pedro Almeida, Sales Director of Quinta do Crasto, was responsible for this presentation. Pedro Almeida is also descendent from the family Almeida, founder of the company.

This limited edition spent the first 10 years of its life in traditional Scotch Whisky oak casks. On the 1st of May 2013 it was transferred to Portuguese Moscatel wine barriques, which have imparted flavours of toasted almonds and oranges, sun-dried raisins and figs, with a sweet and creamy finish.

Flaming Pig is inspired by the great whiskey fire of 1875 when 5000 barrels of whiskey and spices ignited and flowed onto the streets of the Liberties as far as the Coombe, endangering the lives of the many residents and their livestock. As the flames raged, it is said that the lone squeal of a “Flaming Pig” alerted the residents to the imminent danger.

Flaming Pig Black Cask is a small batch blend of single grain and single malt Irish whiskey, finished in first fill bourbon casks which have been intensely charred. the burnt wood imparts a richer, slightly smoky, flavour to the whiskey. butterscotch and tropical fruits on the nose, with concentrated spice, nutty notes and vanilla sweetness in the taste. the finish is smooth and mellow with an intense richness. it is bottled at 40% abv, chill filtered and with no added colouring.

Founded in 1872 by Matsuzaemon Hombo, Hombo Shuzo is a Japanese producer of handmade whiskies. Its Mars Shinshu Distillery is situated on the top of the Japanese Alps. Located at an altitude of 798 meters above sea level, the distillery is located in the small town of Miyaa, near Tokyo, and opened its doors in 1985.

The cold climate of the mountain, along with moderate humidity and a high quality water, offer the ideal conditions for the production of high quality Japanese whisky.

In 2017 the Mars Shinshu was elected "Artisan Distiller" of the year at the World Whiskies Awards.

MARS MALTAGE “COSMO”. 43% alc.

This mixed malt whisky presents a rich and intense aromatic profile. The result is a tasty combination of sweet flavors like honey, caramel and dried fruit, subtly highlighted with touches of smoked wood.

The Mars "Cosmo" is a mixture of new and ripe whiskeys of one single malt. Its name "Cosmo" refers to one of the peaks of the Sierra that surrounds the distillery.

The Master mixer Takehira Koteru was based on the specific characteristics of each malt for the creation of the Mars filleting "Cosmo". It follows the trend in the global world of whisky to focus on the final flavor of whisky instead of in age.

MARS NATURE OF SHINSU ‘KOHIGANZAKURA’ SINGLE MALT. 52% alc.

The second limited edition of the Mars Nature range has a production of only 5,725 bottles.

Slightly blurred, this Japanese whisky is a mixture of fresh malt whiskeys and pure malt whiskies aged for over 20 years. A part comes from aged malts in ancient kites of Japanese red wine from Yamanashi Prefecture.

Its name pays tribute to the flower of the Japanese cherry Tree of the Nagano Prefecture, with a label specially created by the artist Yoko Nomura.

MARS 1986 AMERICAN WHITE OAK 30 ANOS. 61% alc.

This special edition of production of only 1,137 bottles is extremely rare. Only a small number of bottles are available around the world.

This singular whisky of pure Japanese malt was aged for 30 years in American white oak kites.

The painting of the label "Awaku Murou Mami " is a work by the Japanese painter Yasunori Ikenaga.

Made from authentic Italian bergamot and selected native botanicals, the sip of Italy.

Based on an original recipe from the 1850’s well known in Italy at that time as “Aperitivo di corte” (“The drink of kings”).

Italicus is lightly citrusy on the nose with hints of rose and lavender. On the palate, fresh tones of ripe citrus fruits are balanced with a light bitter and floral spice before giving way to a complex and long-lasting finish.

To enhance the delicate flavours of the botanicals, ITALICUS is best enjoyed 50/50 with Prosecco over ice and garnished with three green olives to balance the floral aromas with a touch of saltiness.

The essence of 1724 Tonic Water has its origins in the Andes, on the mythical Inca Trail. This is not by chance. This is where quinine was discovered. There, this ingredient gains the authenticity of a product with roots in the region that go back hundreds of years. At 1724 metres above sea level. Not a metre above or below.

Now available in 200ml can, only at Solbel.

At Solbel we can find an exclusive room specially dedicated to Sevillian Gin Puerto de Indias. Here can occur meetings, workshops, presentations or other small private events. This is a very quiet room featuring a few seats in a vintage colonial style.

Solbel had its own space at the Algarve Trade Experience event last March, presenting whisky brands Antiquary and Tomatin, 2 of the portfolio represented brands. At this show, some classic cocktails were made by an exclusive barman. Other Solbel represented brands like Gin Mare, G’Vine, Gin Puerto de Indias, Rum Diplomatico, cachaça Capucana, where also part of this event through their owners.
